Marzipan
« on: December 27, 2009, 01:00:04 am »
I made the Marzipan from the UK Thermomix Forum. It was very easy to make and I had success straight up. When I tasted the marzipan a memory of childhood Christmas in Holland came rushing back... my mother made marzipan potatoes... so I did the same by rolling the baby potato shapes in cocoa. The verdict from those who like a sweet almond taste was a perfect 5/5. If I was artistic I would have made the fruits(peaches, apricots) as well. Will have to ask DD to have a go for me. ;D

Thanks - I haven't been game to make it - we don't eat much but wanted to give some as presents - next year.

Thanks for that. DD loves marzipan and has a birthday on 31st so may make some for her.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
