Hi from Perth.. :)
« on: January 03, 2010, 12:36:43 pm »
Why hello all.

Thought i would introduce myself as i am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my surprise pressie from DF, a shiny new TMX.
Ok well its not a surprise anymore, but it was when he rang from work to say "Just letting you know ive just brought you a TMX" followed by "should i still get you something for Christmas or is this ok, you wont get it till early January.."  :D I assured him it was fantastic and more than enough..  ;D

So im expecting to get it in the next few days and have been drooling over all these recipes and ideas and the tips are very helpful.

I have two young children so hope to make things fast, healthy, and easy.

It took awhile to convince DF that i needed one and it wasnt 'cheating' in the kitchen. We are both chefs so he couldnt understand what i could do that i wasnt trained to already. But once informed about the ease and functions and that it was aiding us in the kitchen and complementing our cooking he was sold.. that plus the promises of all those sorbets and custards..  ;)

Ok that ended up long, sorry bout that.
Im a tad excited.

Thanks for reading.

Hi Kali Ma, welcome to the forum.  Fancy your DF thinking he may still have to buy you a Christmas present after ordering you a TMX - what a nice guy you have got there. Hope both of you enjoy experimenting and converting recipes when it finally arrives.

Hi and welcome Kali Ma. Hopefully you will receive your TMX in the next few days and you will be able to have heaps of fun. I look forward to hearing how it goes from 2 chef's point of view.

Hope the new toy arrives soon! Welcome to the forum. Let us know what you cook up when you get it!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
