I agree with the soups. They've been wonderful for me. I have a fairly high chair in the kitchen at the moment so I can sit while cutting (the chopping board is on legs with wheels) over by the Thermomix and the kitchen sink. I can rinse-up, chop and cook in one place! lol If sitting is more comfortable, then I suggest a seat with wheels, as I have to get up if I forgot to bring over an ingredient before I started. Still, it's better than standing for ages while peeling and chopping etc.

I hope you feel better soon!

CP63 I love Lady Flo's books. They are so simple and practical.

Well, I've just got back from seeing the obstetrician.  Having done another scan, he's said that this baby is definitely only going to come out safely if I have a cesarean, and has scheduled the operation for 29th January.  So unless she thinks otherwise and begins to come earlier, that will be her Birthday.  Which, funnily enough, will mean that she has the very same Birthday as her Uncle and her cousin.
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

((DH to CarolineW here!))
Right. First and foremost a heart-felt apology to you all for not posting sooner.

This is an exceedingly belated "thank-you" to you all.

Recipes were tried and some have become part of our "family fare" and contributed much to our getting through that very hard period.
Hannah (DD2) is now 3 months old and although Caroline has hit some further (health) complications we are coming to the other side of that initial baby-phase. That said, we love it! - All the baby stuff - including the hard bit.

So to all you that contributed to this thread. THANK YOU. Signing out now.
DH to Caroline W.

Hi DH to CarolineW, thanks for popping in. Nice to hear all is going well with DD3 but sorry to hear Caroline is having problems. I'm sure with the love and caring support you give her, she will work her way through this problem too.  Wishing you and your family the best  :-* :-*
