strange questions, but what colour should the butterfly be?
« on: January 14, 2010, 10:44:32 pm »
Hi all

This might sound like a strange question, but I just wanted to check what colour the butterfly should be?

I swear to god that it used to be grey, but today it is a weird shade of green.  It went through the dishwasher (though it is marked as dishwasher proof) and now i don't know if it has changed colour or if it was always green and I am just going mad?!?

Please let me know!

It should be the same colour as the strainer basket,TM lid and Varoma. :)

That's what I thought!  It is actually now a foresty/olivey green colour since going through the dishwasher (but I have put it through before and it didn't change!).  Anybody else seen this happen?

After cooking curries/turmeric.  I have one now for savoury and one for sweet - in case.

Yep, my butterfly went green after doing the butter chicken - still works though. Two is a good idea though

Too weird - I was looking at Sargo's butterfly the other day - and commented on how it was green.  I would have sworn it was gray when it first arrived.

added with a little turmeric....
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
