Another newbie, already a big Thermomix fan!
« on: January 21, 2010, 11:24:05 am »
Hi I'm Carolyn and I'm already a Thermomix addict. I am a sahm with a 2 year old daughter.
My lovely husband surprised me with a Thermomix as part of my Christmas present. I had the demo and received it last Saturday.
I wasn't a fan after the demo, in fact I was very worried my poor husband had spent so much money on a gadget that didn't make great food... fortunately I have a couple of friends who have Thermomixes and swear by them so I gave it a go myself and I am now officialyl an addict.
I've used it every day since and I love it already. I now think I'm going to have to move on to the raw recipes because I've gained 2 kilos this week with all the lovely recipes and the continuous eating. OOPs.
Have enrolled in a Thermomix class being held next month and I can't wait to learn more about this fabulous thing.
My good friend Caroline suggested I join this forum and I'm loving it already.
Great to 'meet' everyone!

xCarolyn

Hi Carolyn, lovely to meet you too.  Glad the TMX won you over in the end - I was a bit worried for a second there.  Have fun on the forum with all our lovely members - this is the best place to be for great recipes, tips and a good old laugh.

Welcome Carolyn - lucky you having a DH who buys such wonderful Xmas presents!!

Glad you found the forum, you'll find loads of inspiration here!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Yay, you're here!  So glad you love yours now :)  There are some fantastic recipes on the forum, and the review section is great to check out before making something new out of the EDC.

I am about to email you some of my faves xx
