A great start for a new Thermomix owner!
« on: February 01, 2010, 10:59:31 am »
It was meant to happen.  My boss saw a demonstration, told me about it and I was very interested.  My mother told me about a demonstration coming up at their retirement village and asked if had I heard of Thermomix and would I like to come along and see what it was all about!  Well was something pushing me or what?.  My parents saw my reaction and bought me one as a gift ..... very unexpected and very very kind of them.

This weekend I spend at least two hours browsing through this Forum and printed off at least six recipies.  Made the first one tonight and my husband was going back for thirds!! I have found a very useful assistant to help me with my love of cooking healthy food.

Needless to say I am very happy and delighted with everything associated with this wonderful kitchen wonder!!

Welcome Loy Loy. What wonderful parents you have. Did your Mum buy one too?  Perhaps she will after seeing how fantastic they are. What have you made so far?

Hi LoyLoy, lucky you.  You will have to make things and take them over to your parents now to show them how wrapped you are in your TMX. If they bought themselves one then you will be able to compare recipes and talk TMX everytime you visit them.  I probably bore my poor old Mum to death with my talk but she appreciates the food parcels.
