Hi, I have had my Thermomix 1 week today and live in Rockingham, W.A. I have 3 children a 12 week, 6 yr and a 10 yr old. I struggle with weight and like to eat as healthy as possible. I have already used this about 2 times a day.

Welcome Newbies! It won't be long and you will be expert and soon wonder what you did before without TMX! Look forward to more posts from you.

Hi mymac2009, welcome to the forum. Good luck with your healthy eating plan. A word of warning, stay away from the dessert & cake threads

Thanks everyone, yes go Aussies lol! I am so addicted to the thing already, my eldest daughter loves coming in to watch lol I promised her we would make Hot cross buns together on the weekend, I have already made them (without the cross) and the kids took them to school for a snack. Yes thanks for the warning, I think I should only make sweets I already don't like lol so I can have fun in the kitchen, but not eat it lol.

Welcome to another West Aussie Mymac2009. Let me warn you it is VERY hard to stay away from the sweets and all the delicious things here. Having a weight problem is a jolly nuisance, I know.
I LOVE food.

I purchased mine through a new seller Marta
Its funny I spent hrs on this forum site looking through all the recipes for next weeks menu, so I could write down all necessary ingredients and shop online lol. What 1 can do from sitting down with a cuppa/coke, do the shopping, chat with friends and look for new recipes whilst bub is a sleep in her cot, washing in the machine and good music. Oh and I did forget to mention my lovely cat purring next to me.
This weeks adventure in the kitchen is going to go something like this with mess, dishes, kids, smells wafting through the house and full bellies lol

AT least with the TMX dishes and mess are greatly reduced.
