Out of the mouth of a 2 year old.....
« on: February 04, 2010, 07:26:40 am »
I just said to my 2 year old we'll get dinner ready in 10mins, to which she replied "I will go get the food out" and as "helpful" as she is I called her back and asked her what she was doing and she said she was getting to food ready and then asked me "where's the Thermie mum?"  :D :D

Very cute!  My 2nd, when he was 9, told me he was going to be a Thermomix consultant when he grew up, because, he said, "I think EVERYone should have a Thermomix!!!"

Whenever my two year old hears the TMX song, her eyes light up and she runs into the kitchen saying "dinner's ready" and gets out  her plate.

Now that's brainwashing - she won't eat anything that hasn't been made in a TMX.

Isn't that the idea???  But that's a lot of cooking I'm discovering.

My 2 yo goes straight into people's kitchens when we visit... and always asks them where is their "Fermomix*!  :os

At home, he watches me as I cook and I get asked questions constantly about the TMX.. why don't I use it to chop the vegies, am I going to use the cook part now?  Do we go backward or forward... he knows them all...  :-))

I think he'll be using it before his 8yo sister and 4yo brother!  :D

A consultant in the making.  That's brilliant!  Just proves how much they can learn just by watching us.

I guess for a 2 year old it is all they are going to know and mine definitely won't remember me cooking without it.

DD reads a cookbook for me and tells me all the ingredients......100 gram butter (that's actually about all she says  ;D) She now tells me that it smells nice (and it really didn't because it had fish sauce in it) so I'm thinking that my old cooking must have been pretty bad  :P
