Bonjour et bienvenue to the forum poupouille1406, how exciting for a French person to join us. You are the first that I know of from France on here.  Your English is fine and it will be lovely if you can share some of your recipes with us in the future.  Enjoy!

Welcome! Can't wait to hear your recipes!! Maybe some classics like how to make the perfect souffle and brulee.  ;) Don't laugh that is almost the extent of my french apart from my name - Renee and we have a Charolais stud.  ;D ;) :D

A welcome also from me, poupouille1406.   It is wonderful to have an actual French citizen on the forum and I am sure you will have many recipes to share.

Welcome.  Like achookwoman, I visited Caen in 1999 and last year.

I took some friends to La Bourride restaurant in 1999 while on a cheese tasting tour.  We stayed near Bayeux and visited the cheese factory of Isigny sur mer (?)

Hope you enjoy the forum.

Also, a friend who is a chef is from Evereux.

Welcome Poupouille,

Great to have somebody from France here. I spent a few years living in Paris in the 1980s and used to go back on a regular basis. I am totally new to the thermomix myself and have looked up what is available on ebay in terms of French thermy recipes.

I would love to hear news of how thermomix culture operates in France. Do lots of people have them? Where can we get hold of some good French thermomix recipes? Are there any French thermomix blogs?

Welcome poupouille! We would love to read about your experiences with the Thermomix! How exciting to have a French citizen on our forum! :)
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
