PS - got distracted by DH. I should add that before adding cream or milk, place MC on lid and blend for 10-20 sec working gradually to speed 9.

Sounds tasty Courton- thanks. Will be a while before we are having soups- far too hot here yet but love soups during the winter so will give this one a go when it cools down

LOL! A lentil soup without the lentils! It really is delicious! If you want, you can add crisply fried bacon pieces just before serving... which is what we did tonight. Yum!~
First time I have converted one of our favourite recipes into TMX! Sorry about it!!

Thanks Courton, we finally got there. Don't worry about it - we all do it from time to time and can always rely on someone to pick us up on it. It does prove that your recipe received enough attention for it to be noticed - would have been a bit of a worry if someone cooked it and didn't notice there were no lentils.

Courton, you may want to edit your original post to include the lentils. Makes it easier to follow.
Sounds like a lovely soup to try when it cools down a lot.
