Hi from Perth
« on: February 28, 2010, 12:47:46 pm »
Hi there
I am the proud new owner of a thermomix and so far so good. We have had a few hiccups, more me getting used to the machine rather than the machine itself.

Look forward to learning more and trying lots of the recipes on this forum :)

Kelly

Hi Kelly, welcome to the forum.  Some take a while to get used to their machines (like me) and others have no problems at all.  We all get there in the end and it brings enormous amount of pleasure to us all. There are some great recipes on this forum, great pictures too - enjoy yourself here.

Hi Kellie! It won't take long to get used to your TMX. It can be a bit scary at first. :D

Rainbow, your avatar is a wonderful Albany picture, I see! We're only a couple of hours from Albany and go there often for business and shopping.

Thanks for noticing meganjane. Its a photo of Little Beach near Two Peoples Bay.  Hope you enjoy Albany when you visit but it's probably a busy time for you.  Checked your websites, great!

Kellie, the perth people have a get together occasionally so keep an eye on the forum for the next one as this all helps, meeting people with the same interests etc.

Welcome Kelly.  It does take a bit to get used to if you just follow the recipes and don't have a peak at what's happening.

Sure you'll master it in a couple more days.  ;D

Welcome Kelly. It is lovely to have you on the forum from another Perthite.

Rainbow I'm heading down your way on Wednesday for a few days and then on to Esperance. Hopefully it's cooler than here. Albany is a lovely place.
