Whilst at my first demo egg shells were used to clean the bowl after cooking custard ... would this work for the scrambled eggs?

I mentioned this problem to my rep who did my demo and he suggested adding some butter first and when cooking the egg only go up to 60 degrees rather than 80 or 90.  I personally haven't tried it but I hope it helps someone.

Ta,  think 70 might be better - it won't set if the temp doesn't get over 62oC - there are lots of recipes for eggs cooked at that temp.  May be worth trying as the base will probably get over 60 even if the light say 60 - IFKWIM  :-))

I tried this recipe (10min, speed 2, 100C) and ended up with a consistency closer to polenta than scrambled eggs.
The frypan worked a treat on the 2nd attempt :)

Ooooops.  Welcome Sammy_D.  Hope you have more luck with other recipes.  This is basically  the English Fast & Easy Cookbook recipe.  There is another one that you MAY like to try from Janine B that faffa_70 wrote up.

Can't say this is a recipe I'll be doing again. Goes against the TMX "creed" as it took longer than my usual pan recipe (basically the way Fast Ed does them), tasted a lot tougher, and was a nightmare to clean at the end. I really hate having to use my fingernails to scrub something clean!
