Hi from Melbourne!
« on: March 05, 2010, 03:41:37 am »
Hi everyone

I'm a Kiwi girl living in Melbourne with my hubby, two small boys and my TM  ;D

I was GIVEN my TM by an employer/friend about 9 months ago and I have loved every moment of it. I think it's the best gift I've ever been given, not to mention the most expensive ! I even took it on holiday with me to Queensland at Christmas, had to twist hubby's arm on that one though.

I cook nearly everything from scratch now and am loving giving my family such wonderfully healthy food.

Looking forward to getting to know you and picking up some more fab recipes.

Thanks Chelsea,

I need to go wake my youngest now to pick up the older one from Kinder. Ahh, it's so peaceful when they're asleep  :D

Ceejay, thought I recognised you  :)

Lamb recipes, haha, right  :P Well, I haven't tried any yet, so if there are some good ones, I'll give 'em a shot!

Thanks for all the welcomes  :)

Hi & welcome to the forum PC.  There should be more bosses like yours around, does he/she have one too? Must be nice to bump into people you know from another forum.  Happy cooking, you'll love the recipes on here.

Hi and welcome here! Which other forum are you on?
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I'm on nappycino, the home of all cloth nappy chatter  ;D

And yes, my employer does have one, though she has one stand and two bowl/blade sets, cos you know, you wouldn't want to actually have to wash it between times would ya? I'm just poking fun, she's a great employer and just about all members of her family have one too. A very happy consultant round their neck of the woods, I'm sure!

Yep, the shaving cream is a great hit and sooo easy to clean up, which is the best bit.

Thermomixer, you did find me once I remember, making bread after having a rant about additives in store bought bread  ;D

I'm happy to have found my way here, finally  :)
