Hi Dene, welcome to the forum.  I have a scribbled note here which says Deb's mango ice-cream but where I got it from, heaven knows.
500g frozen milk cubes
tin passionfruit pulp
sugar to taste
100g fresh mango
200g frozen mango

No directions given so guess you just blitz it all together until it looks like ice-cream.  I'd use the spatula to help it along like you do with sorbet.

Thanks so much Judydawn.  I have homegrown mangos and passionfruit so will give your recipe a try.

I did something similar once...

500 grams frozen milk cubes
bit of sugar
500 grams mango

I used fresh mango and it was pretty runny, so frozen would be the way to go I think. I make strawberry icecream this way with frozen strawbs, it needs a bit of milk to help it come together though.

For a different taste, use coconut milk. I also add a bit of lime juice as mango is quite sweet.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
