Amy, I give a lot away.

friends pop in and have cake and coffee at work with me. there is a coffee shop next door to me at work, but I won't go there.
Our kids love chocolate cake.

Mum has a morning tea this week at lawn bowls, to raise money for cancer,  so I am cooking cakes for her for that. :-*

2 Big lemon cakes, and cupcakes yesterday for Saturday bowls afternoon tea.

My other neighbor should be home again today,  so drop some to him.  Gotta look after the oldies around me.. :)

I still can't get over how many people can't bake...

Today I have made zucchini, cheese and bacon quiches (Amy's), some mini pizzas, choc chip cookies, chic ripple cookies, cheese and bacon rolls, muesli bars, and supposed to be making some vanilla slices but my custard is too runny. Not sure what I did wrong :(

Dede, its chookies no fuss bread, 1 hr in bowl in front of my fire, 2 hours or until tall enough, think it was 1 3/4 in front of my fire.

Using bread improver thats in date works really well.

H, that bread looks amazing. I didn't realise that bread improver could make such a difference. I don't have any, but perhaps I should put it on my list as I will hopefully get time to make some bread this week (I'm not sure I've got enough in my budget to buy any this week LOL)
I have been given some limes, so I made some lime and coconut friands with the egg whites left over from the Portuguese custard tarts I also made. I have to say that these  upstart tarts (!!!!!ipad autocorrect is driving me crazy. I meant to say custard tarts!!!)
BTW, I think that these tarts are the best thing I have made in my TC since I got it, and I've made a lot of things.

The kids will eat it I'm sure. It has actually thickened quiet a bit, but not thick enough for vanilla slice. I have made another batch of custard. This one is much better :)

Of course the kids will eat it. Thats what kids do isn't it? :-))

I'm glad you have a better batch of custard. I hope the vanilla slice turns out really well for you ;)
Do you use low-fat milk in your custard?
