Well it looks like vodka is on the shopping list this week. How much vodka to vanilla bean? How long to cure?

I have had my vanilla extract going since march last year, as I take some out I refill with more vodka and a few extra vanilla beans. Great stuff :D

Busy Robyn! That all sounds really good :D

I just made some biscuits but I made up the recipe and they smell a bit funny. They're too hot to try yet but fingers crossed they taste alright :-))

Soup done & eaten but I think I remember why I stopped using my thermie more often,  DH says about the soup "it's not a good as you usually make"

That's what happens, you change something and they don't like it.

I thought it was ok.  Texture very different than what I usually make.

Ps. He didn't like the rolls either :-(
