What a shame Judy, it looks very nice.

You probably want a couple of meals worth in the freezer Gert. In case you are ill and can't get to town.
In case you are hospitalised and DH needs to cook a meal. (he could always get take away or open a can of spam).
Just in case I suppose.

I'm thinking of getting rid of the freezer in the garage. There is only the 2 of us and when the children come for a meal I usually shop for the meal anyway. With electricity going up we could do without the extra expense.

Good thinking Judy. Maybe I WILL go shopping tomorrow. I am doing so well with my shopping I am almost afraid to spend any money. I have spent only $36.88 this week.

Am I becoming obsessed?

Amy are you paying  attention? Mcmich said the magic words "just in case".

I never have prepared meals in the freezer. My emergency is KFC

Yes, Gert, I always pay attention ;D
Surely you could find some slugs in the garden in you were desperate. My tip: steaming for 20 minutes is a bit too long if you want them tender :-))

Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant. Yes indeed I will. Love it. Thank you CC. OMG . Excellent .

Must remember my recipe. I still have  that Thai stuff  the fridge. Oh yes.

And. Because I ground up some  Parmesan today for my risotto I will make  the Parmesan and Artichoke  tart to use up  some of my 2 kilos of anchovies on the top and at least one of my four jars of artichokes. Great footy food tomorrow night .

I am soooo excited . MT Freezer all at once.

CC I love you.
