So far today. Rye sourdough and pumpkin soup for lunch. I am trying a sourdough pumpernickel. Later I plan to make some sour dough crepes and some creamy chicken and veg to have with them, and EVO Lemon tart from FFS. If I get to it I will also make some umami paste and some basil pesto.

Hope you post the pumpernickel if it's a success.   :)

It seems like forever since I had time to check in here.
I am now home-schooling Che (our grandson) and by the end of the day I am exhausted  :)
But TC is still working hard and making great food.
Today I am making Isi's Easy Rolls. (They are a real hit around here and I make them every week.
Also on the go are Plain White rolls - no fuss.    for Che.

I have been playing around with a lot of different bread and yeast recipes and will try to post a few of the successes when I get time.

These are a version of Sticky Finger/London buns recipe  done with dried Craisons and baked in a round pan with a strong coffee wash.  Yummy.  Behind are a batch of Isi's rolls and a loaf of white bread.

RosieB!!  How lovely to see you back again!!  I can imagine how tired you must be at the end of the day . . .that would take an enormous amount of energy!!

The buns and the rolls look wonderful!!  Like the idea of a coffee wash!

It looks like a bakery in your house today RosieB, nice to hear from you again.  What a perfect loaf of bread, I love the look of a square loaf.  You are doing a great job with Che, no wonder you are tired.
