Yum Uni. The stuffed pasta shells look good. What sid you fill them with?

a thick bol sauce then mixed bol,nap and bechamel sauce and poured all over the shells, the shells  are uncooked so made up a cup of veg stock and poured that in 2

i will top with mozz cheese when i reheat it tonight.

Well, today I'm trying to do lots of prep for tomorrow's work Xmas party which we are hosting here.  I *think* we are expecting about 40, but DH is very vague on little details like that  :-))

So, so far today I've made
french sticks from this recipe http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4739.0 Will do the garlic butter soon and just keep in the fridge overnight.
Festive Spicy Salt from Tenina's new ebook (to do pork belly - not sure I will want to share that tomorrow though  ;) )
Sugar & Spice from the ebook too, and made the gingerbread shortbread dough, which is chilling in the fridge now
Smoked Chicken Pate from same book
Onion Jam from superkitchen website

Next up is going to be chicken meatballs and some peppermint choc bark.
Then, we will see how we are going!!  After already making some cranberry & white choc cookies yesterday, I think I'm all good for sweets, so if anything, will look at other savoury nibbles.  Will do salads tomorrow afternoon.  And we have chickens & beef going in the BBQ rotisserie tomorrow.  Think that has most things covered....?

Yes, at home.
We only have 2 staff (other than us of course) but DH has invited various customers & suppliers too.

We renovated our place not too long ago too, so lots of people haven't seen it since then.

Of course, we have had a run of nice weather, but expecting a southerly change today and will be cold with a few showers tomorrow!!   :-))

Good luck with the party Jo, there seems to be a few on this coming weekend.  Looks like we might have a few more reviews for Tenina's new eBook coming up ;)

Jo, that all sounds great. I had forgotten all about Julie's garlic bread, I'm working from home today so might be able to make some.

Sounds like you've got it all under control Jo and the food you are preparing sounds great.

I am trying to make some of Mara's macarons today.  Never made macarons before and I've only ever eaten a couple so I'm interested to see how I go.  I added some lemon zest and will probably make some of Tenina's lemon curd for the filling.

Deedub, I like the sound of cheat's ice cream....how do you do it?

Got home from work tonight and made Nay Nay's scones, Tenina's Strawberry & Vanilla Bean Jam, Tenina's Cirtus Curd & JohnRo's Cookies & Vream fudge.....phew, let's hope it all goes down well for morning tea tomorrow!

Jamberie, I basically 'winged' it! Milled some sugar, chucked in some frozen cubes of milk & blitzed, then frozen raspberries. Used the butterfly after I blitzed everything to get it smooth. Kids love it - I'm sure I got the idea from here somewhere.

No cooking today, using something from the freezer for dinner.... too hot!
