Running a day behind!!! Don't think I will catch Up. Yesterday made Shortbread biscuits. Garlic paste, Mushroom risotto, spring rolls and curried mince for puff triangles. Then visitors arrived and stayed 3 hours and stopped my run.

Don't you hate it when someone interrups a cooking session Chookie
At this time of the year though it is bound to happen and we have to be thankful people care enough to visit. I plan no more than 2 items at a time and if I can get through those and have had no phone calls about visitors wanting to come, then I start working on the next couple of items. Sometimes I've just had enough and need to sit down or come on the forum for a rest
The shortbreads do look light, post the recipe when you have time - the more choice the better.
Is it any wonder we sometimes have to post recipes from this section into a thread of their own - you would never find them in 1000 pages. It's a very popular thread indeed and lovely to read what everyone is doing in their kitchen on a daily basis.

Slow cooked 2 chooks overnight, stripped them this morning then have made casseroles for tea, filled some foccacia buns with chicken, bacon, sauce and cheese for DHs lunches, he will have what is left in a salad roll tomorrow.
