Yes the bowl was a pressie. Can't believe Santa actually knew I wanted it. Have missed having the 2nd bowl when DD moved out.
Maddy, that Yale log looks amazing. Your family are incredibly spoilt.

Yes, same here Amanda.  I must rearrange my fridge and see exactly what's in there.  I go off food at this time of the year which isn't a bad thing for my hips.

All the food looks amazing well done everyone.

We are having a BBQ today but I made the hamburgers and marinated the lamb chops before freezing them all so just have to make a potato bake today and have some down time after a big day yesterday nd a huge day to come tomorrow.

I hope everyone enjoys their Boxing Day.

Marinating chicken portions ATM (Haven't decided if they are for lunch or tea yet, have bread dough rising and a 1 batch of brownie in the oven, another batch ready to go in.   :)  Can't help myself cooking - i have about 3/4hr more til we are going out again to help BIL do more cleaning/shifting.  :-))  Will take the bread buns and brownie up there with us.  :D

No cooking today, I don't think. May make a cake later as having more  guests round tomorrow
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

banana and mango icecream and some toum - neither involved heat as it's 1pm and 37.6 degrees outside!

Thanks for the reminder about the toum, Bonsai - had a Lebanese friend some years ago who made the most incredible toum (she used a whole head of garlic).  I did try to make it once or twice but wasn't too successful,  I'll give this one a go!  Thanks again for the link. :D

DH made fried rice and used thermie to cut veggies. He was so amazed and said "who would ever chop again?"

He made yummy banana icecream for dessert.
