Gosh Judy you were busy.
Have just been invited out to dinner and asked to bring dessert. I ran and got out all my dessert cookbooks, looked through them and then decided I should use the TMX. So I will make strawberry foam, will make it earlier and put in the freezer and a Torta Caprese. I found it interesting that after looking at all sorts of things I went back to the TMX.

So far today I've made 3 loaves basic bread, brownie milk (link below) and have fruit buns in the oven.  Haven't made the fruit buns, so looking forward to seeing how they turn out.

Fruit Buns are delicious - just need to perfect shaping them more evenly, but that doesn't affect taste so who cares!

For all those bakers out there who are looking for a tree change: I just noticed the Blackbutt bakery forsale - it has a lovely old wood fired oven. $320 000 including the house out the back!!! Oh - if I had the time! :-))

Today I have made Fruit Toast, iced yesterdays custard slice (yummo), raspberry ice-cream, cooked a roast in the weber and made a red onion/red wine gravy in the TMX.  Ready to pack up some food from yesterday to go with the above and do a 'meals on wheels' delivery to Mum - she will love her basket of goodies today.

Thanks Thermomixer. I only used it once whilst GS was here so making up for lost time. I really missed not having the time to play with my 'other baby' so I have gotten that out of my system now and will have tomorrow off.

Your Mum must be very appreciative Judy. I used to do a similar thing for Mum. I just wish I had the thermomix then. Actually she would have loved a TMX. She always loved cooking and a TMX would have made her later life so much easier.

Thanks to Julie's great review I have a German Cherry.......cheesecake in the oven. It was so easy to make. Thanks Julie. It was the lovely photo that did it. :D

Yes Cookie, Mum loves her food deliveries and delights in telling everyone that 'Judy keeps me supplied with food'.  Never knows what to expect.  Don't know what she is going to do when we go on our cruise for 2 weeks in December - maybe I had better do some frozen packs between now and then.  She does live right behind a shopping centre that has a chicken shop with great take-away food, Foodland is there too along with a bakery so I know she won't starve.

Last night I made a bacon, tomato and basil crustless quiche after we arrived home exhausted from our family holiday to Melbourne.  Today I've stocked up the cake tins with a pineapple upside down cake and some ginger snaps.  Yummy.

Nothing yesterday, used the slow cooker as we were out all day. Today have some bread on and have made butter, but then am going out to dinner tonight.

Last night I made Rice/Almond Milk, Pumpkin Soup, Curry Sweet Potato Soup out of the Vegetarian cookbook and also the Veggie Fritters out of the Vegetarian CB too - but ended up throwing them in the bin - they were terrible. :-X
