Great cakes girls :)
BZB, I love your cupcake wrappers.
In the last couple of days, I have made cupcakes, 3 different slices, 4 different biscuits and tonight I had to make more bread. My kitchen has been chaotic, and my dd has  also made 2 different types of biscuits and scones.  I am running out of plastic containers ;)

My DH said thank you for all the birthday wishes. He's quite amused that he was mentioned in this forum. ;D

ES, those cupcakes are stunning. Do you give classes?

Too pretty to eat Emerald  8)

Today's iced mud cake...shame it doesn't show the glitter....this one was from the new nordic ware tin, was really happy with how it baked evenly

And the spare one made in the silicone form....it's really rubbish in comparison for baking, so it's been turfed!

.........EAT CAKE!

Great cake Maddie. Can I ask which mud cake recipe you use? I have to make DD's this weekend and have always used one from a member on the taste forum.

Wonder, I made this one from RC  http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/recipes/best-ever-mud-cake/56147
Didn't mind it....it does need a larger tin or 2 tins....thought mine was big enough, but clearly not

....just cut the top off & all was good.  My tin measurement was 21cm x 8cm D.  Kept wrapped in fridge & iced next day.
Used the same recipe for the giant cupcakes.
.........EAT CAKE!

ES all that cooking looks great, those cupcakes look amazing.

BZB, we are using those same cupcake wrappers for DD's birthday next week but in lime green.

Maddy, those cakes look great. I'll compare the recipe to the one I normally use. I'm doing a fondant cake for her main cake so planning on making sunday and then icing over Wednesday/Thursday all ready for Friday night.
