That was where I went today as well, last time I was there they had none at all and the staff we of no help! The only reason I went back was because Cookie1 has been there and she has 3 (I think) different sized tins. I am not sure if they all have lids but I will keep trying I guess. Otherwise I know ILB posted a site too for www.SNK.com.au (simply no knead) and I am seriously looking at them too. Gretchen has posted a link I just can't remember what that one is off the top of my head  :P I love KW but the staff can be a bit hopeless  :-)) :-))

Kathryn - I went to KW in Cockburn the other week and was dissappointed as they only had the small bread tins with lids .  I asked one of the staff there and she said that she didn't think they came in a larger size.
Do you have larger sized ones with lids and did you get them from KW?  I have been meaning to go over the threads with bread discussion, as I think someone listed a site to get them from (?might have been Gretchen?).

Yes it was me. If you email the office of Bakery and Catering Services here in Cairns they will be able to tell you where to buy lids in your area  I am sure. I think she told me that the pans and lids came from Adelaide. office@bcsnq.com, there is a pic of mine here and you can click to enlarge  http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=2035.45

Hope that helps. Otherwise you can pop into your local bakery and ask. They might even sell you one. You only need the one lid as it will fit over the small tin anyway.

I got my lidded bread tins from 'All About Bread' in Greenwood ( Waneroo Rd) . They have small medium and large tins and sell lids for all sizes. I have two mediums and a small so that I can bake several loaves of bread in one go. They are all the same price, I think 13 for lids and maybe 25?? for tin I can't remember how much they are Alioop. That sounds good Meagan.  I only have one tine with a lid and I use that for Cape Seed Bread. I have a larger one and a small one that I use for 5 seed bread. With these 2 and careful managing I can just about get square bread for the 5 seed bread.

That would be great Meagan. I haven't ventured into bread making much as I don't have proper tins.

Made Snoozie's silverbeet quiche with a different method to try and make it faster.  Result was good - but maybe better to beeat egg whites separately - will post a pic.

MrsT liked it very much and she doesn't normally do vegetables.

Made some Buttermilk bread yesterday and butter. I plan to do some puff pastry today (I can't decide between the EDC recipe or the Indian one) and stew some apples for an apple pie. We also need some 5 seed bread.

Made the mushroom risotto from the EDC.

Added 3 slices of shoulder bacon in with the onion at the start.

Didn't have white wine so did 10gr balsamic vinegar and 90 gr water instead.

The rest was as per the recipe.  Tastes pretty good I think.  Kids are eating it anyway!
