I have never seen cream for that cheap on special. I always look cos I want to get it for what you've paid. They usually offer about 20% off when its nearly at the use by date. Today Brownes were still more at last minute discount rate( $3+) more expensive than Harvey Fresh($2.15) . I always buy Harvey Fresh cos the ingredients list is still the same. I want to get it for that price  :'(

I managed to get a couple of 600 ml  for about $2 each a while ago. Not a lot cheaper but ok.

Today making a cake, CC recipe apricot with nutty toffee top,  for local family whose father died.  Pork belly ,( won't be as good as Judy's).   roasted with Alyce's Smashed Potatoes.  ( will leave out the paprika ). And greens. Washing powder for washing machine.  Peach and raspberry tart,  based on Belgium Lemon Teacake.  Yesterday made Peppermint Crisp Ice cream.

Gert,  this is taking it easy.  Worked perfectly. CC's Almond Toffee topped Apricot cake.  Think she must have tested it in my oven.
I have the Peach and Raspberry tart in the oven now.

It looks as if you will have to freeze some of your cooking today Chookie, 2 people couldn't possibly get through all that in a hurry  ;D   I look forward to your recipe for that peach & raspberry tart, it looks delicious.

That icecream looks lovely chookie, I love my tovolo containers, I bought 2, trying to decide if I need another one. Lol
I  have made two of David Lebovitz ice creams a chocolate one from the net, that DH says is like his favorite Sara Lee one and the other from his book the perfect scoop, lemon.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!
