Just made our favourite butter cake, using the TM instead of KitchenAid. Been meaning to try it out.

Used butterfly to cream sugar and butter. Method based on the coconut butter cake in EDC. Didn't sieve flour. Just added it in one lot.

Batter wasn't fluffy at creaming stage unlike my usual method. Cake came out heavy :(

Those desserts look lovely chookie.  Eat them all I say 😉😄
Love my tovolo container too. Wish I had bought two.
The boys picked a bucket full of carrots yesterday. Was hoping to leave them in the ground a bit longer, but our puppy likes pulling them out! So I made Judy's pumpkin pie with carrots instead of pumpkin. It's sweet and delicious.

Yum, what a great idea Kimmy :) I can't wait to try it.... I do love pumpkin pie, but this could be handy for using up carrots!

Pumpkin, sweet potato, carrots - yes they all work well as a sweet pie.  That looks really good Jamberie.

Chookie I did miss you when you were travelling and Ral was ill. It is so lovely to see your cooking again.

Great cooking everyone.

Beezeebee, i find the containers a good size and shape for scooping out, the icecream seems to stay a little softer (might be in my head), they stack easily in the freeze and best of all they have a non slip bottom so they stay put when you are scopping out the icecream.
