Glad to know I'm not the only one who ends up with a messy kitchen :)
I start off trying to be pretty organized and tidy, but by the end I usually have stuff everywhere.

In my slow cooker is night is this duck. The aroma is wonderful. Now what to do next????

When it cools I will strip it and strain it. I want to save  all the duck fat and juices.

Gert,  looks delicious.  Why do people buy duck fat,  which is very expensive,  when they can roast a duck and get fat, meat and stock all for the price of the duck?
Great cooking everyone.
Emme,  glad the SD is producing.  As I sit here having breakfast,  a loaf of SD is in the oven.
Visitors tonight.  Cooking a special real free range chicken, Spicy  Barley salad, roast pumpkin, peas .  Yesterday made Baileys Icecream and more Licorice icecream.  Thought we might have Xmas pud with Baileys Icecream.   Also made broccoli Hummus for nibbles.  Will post recipe as it is very easy and nice.

You put me to shame chookie. Might have to make duck ravioli with home made pasta while I watch the cricket. I'll save the breasts  for Nother meal.
