It all looks lovely. Chookie I have made the Lemon and Macadamia biscuits, they are very nice.

No cooking here, too hot and I can't be bothered.

LOL! I found 3 odd sausages in the depths of the freezer. I keep them for pizza topping now and then but wondered how long they have been there. Skinned them to combine with chilli and fennel and made tiny meat balls, needed to use the truss tomatoes so they made he sauce with some garlic. Leftover bread for the salad. Good cleanup.

Watching the cricket most of the day from the pool to keep cool.

Yesterday I made vegetable sausage rolls. Today I made puftaloons (love the name) for breakfast, pizzas for dinner and a caramel fruit slice.

Never heard of a puftaloon, is it like an English muffin or is that flaky pastry Kimmy.

It's a vintage recipe from Miss Drakes cookbook in the 1940's. They are Aussie fried scones and were featured recently in the taste magazine. Mum still has Miss Drakes cookbook! We had them with bacon and maple syrup. Children enjoyed them.

I have that magazine Kimmy, I'll check it out.  So far have been disappointed in the new Taste mag.

The food looks lovely.

Judy and Kimmy I am not very impressed with the Taste magazine either.
