CarolineW I would love to have a Varoma category as love using my Varoma and recently made Varoma Moroccan Chicken Breast that came out so moist and delicious

MDU, we already have a varoma section called All-in-one-meals using the Varoma.

Granuesli, soft buttermilk rolls, peppermint fudge (simply wholefoods), yummy brown rice salad and coleslaw. All that work and DS6 waltzes into the pantry, picks up a packet of jelly crystals and says "mum, can we make jelly today"! Of course I said yes 😚

We really enjoyed the rolls and here's a photo of KIS fruit and nut tiffin I made Friday.

Lovely Kimmy.  LOL to the request for jelly from DS, sometimes plain fare has to be on the menu.

At long last our biscuit barrel became empty. I made some Chewy macadamia cookies from the ebook from the Australian Macadamia site. They look delicious.

MDU, I did make my own apple sauce using this recipe of Helene's http://www.superkitchenmachine.com/2009/3570/how-to-make-applesauce-recipe.html, but I haven't had a chance to write up the cake recipe yet.
Kimmy, you certainly have been busy keeping everyone in your family happy.
Today I have started making mint icecream - it is cooling in the fridge and I'll churn it tomorrow. I've also made a loaf of bread and made a spinach and feta soufflé for dinner to use the egg whites left over from the icecream.

The Moroccan chicken looks delicious MDU as do Kimmy's rolls and tiffin. ES that soufflé looks really yummy - love spinach and fetta.

It's been really nice eating dinner together every night while he has been on holidays.  :D

Ooh, kimmyh, thanks for the reminder - I was meaning to make granuesli today and had forgotten!!

I had a bit of a bake-up in the weekend as DH is back to work today.  So pizza calzones (had pizzas on Friday night, so used up all the leftovers), a fruit & nut slice, "pieburgers" (basically meatballs baked inside squares of flaky pastry) and some banana loaf.  Oh, and "crackers" made from cooking small slices of stale bread - the kids love these and have named them "Crispy Crunchies" - any type of bread seems to be just as popular, and DH is happy as he is very fussy about wanting fresh bread rolls.

I think I might have to make another banana loaf or muffins too - can't keep up with the bananas going brown at the moment.
