Good on her.

I made some of Uni's quick bread rolls. They look a bit like Murphy's Haystacks, which are really rocks in South Australia.

The recipe I have has low fat ricotta mixed in with cauliflower for the topping  :) and that is all.

Filling up the biscuit barrel with chocolate ripple biscuits and white choc macadamia biscuits. Also made zucchini pizza scrolls for lunch and beef enchiladas and tortillas for tea. Good to back in the kitchen after the hot week. The ripple biscuits look and taste like the real thing so also made a mini chic ripple cake for the children.

I have just started making Ice Cream Loti which is the sweet bread they serve icecream on, it comes from the street vendors in Singapore. We have often looked at it but can't get used to the idea of icecream on sweet bread. The recipe is in Feast this month so we are giving it a go.
This is the progress so far.
. This dough is now rising.

Have just caught up with pages and pages of postings.  i am absolutely blown away by the fab food everyone is cooking.
Today i have made Cherry Jelly with Kirsch. I have managed to capture the real flavor of the Cherries so am very pleased.  I think it is because I simmered the cherries with stones and stalks.  I put the mix into the TMX on reverse, and knocked the stones away from the flesh.  I then pushed the juice through a very fine strainer.  then made the jelly.
Yesterday made No Fuss Bread sticks but replaced 100g of flour with a cooked mix of rice and Quinoa.  Also good.
Steamed 2 large Salmon fillets in Varoma.

Angel hair pasta, scallops and garlic cream sauce. A little endame, kale, tomato salad for added colour.

For the chocolate ripples I rolled the dough out to 1cm thick and used a cookie cutter 😉
With the others, I just try to roll the same size balls. I have tried weighing each ball (that's my anal side much to DH's disgust) but it's a bit time consuming and let's face it, where not on GBBO!

Lovely scallops Gert. So fat and juicy. Good to see the roe in there too. Such a waste when not used.

Gert,  why do you live so far away ?  Beautiful.
Kimmyh.  love the cutter idea.
Tonight made Mushroom Risotto and folded through some cooked chook at the end. used the juice that came out of the chook as the liquid.  this certainly added flavor.
