I had a fairly busy afternoon of baking yesterday - banana choc chip muffins, banana and date loaf (I think I need to stop buying bananas altogether), pizza bread.
But haven't managed to get any motivation today....it's hot here today (by our standards anyway) so just relaxing. DD has been at kindy, so just me and DS home, and he seemed keen for a very lazy day too - he slept until after 8 this morning which is late for him.
Going to go and t idy the kitchen now and see if I can find some motivation hiding in there. I have been looking after my friend's cat this week and they are home tomorrow, so thought I'd leave a little bit of baking there for her family. Maybe some cookies and a few of the banana muffins.

Guided DS11 on how to make EDC pizza dough yesterday. Then taught all 3 boys how to construct their own pizzas. They enjoyed the experience especially my littlest man.
DS9's pizza reflects his sense of humour

Lovely BZB. The boys probably enjoyed themselves immensely.

Just making some Ginger macadamia biscuits. Bit hot for the oven but really need to have something in the bickie tin.

Nice pizza BZB, isn't it great when kids enjoy cooking. My three all enjoyed helping in the kitchen and they are now all good cooks capable of looking after themselves and their families.
Jo, your afternoon has also been busy.
My visitors cancelled today as one was not feeling well so I didn't need to make anything.

My middle-child-syndrome DS11 doesn't enjoy cooking...not yet anyway. Hope to change that in due course

Love cooking with my DD. Today she wanted to make pikelets so we made the banana and oat ones. I also experimented with converting my mum's zucchini slice recipe. I got it the closest so far but with so many zucchini to use I doubled the recipe and it didn't fit in the bowl. ...take three next week!

I took advantage of cool weather yesterday to turn the oven on and do some cooking.
I made a grainy loaf of bread, a batch of no fuss rolls, a chocolate zucchini slice and some muesli. I added freeze dried, raspberry dipped, apple slices from my Tastebom order and roasted hazelnuts to my muesli for a change.

Jamberie I'm not home ATM to check my cookbooks but I'm pretty sure in the TM Vegetarian book there's a recipe. Amy's mini quiches would probably convert to a slice as well.

Way to go Gert...
JD's canned tomato soup for lunch and we had sirloin steak, mashed swede and carrots with home made wedges for dinner.
Found a
dessert with rhubarb, don't remember which one for pudding in freezer. Good meal.

ES, that Muesli looks interesting.
BZB, love the funny pizza. I make pizzas with GC and put bowls of topping out and the decorate their own. Some very strange combinations. There is a recipe dough recipe on the Forum for thin and crispy pizza, that is outstanding.
