Great muffins Julie.
I made hot cross buns, passionfruit curd, mini vanilla bean pastry tart cases and yoghurt.

Made these from a  recipe  in my wonderful Secrets of a Jewish Baker book. Thank you Katij

It is a bit of a oops because I got distracted and left them in the oven too long so browner than normal but light and fluffy.

It is almost lunchtime here and one of those would go down well Gert. They look really fluffy-lovely.

They do look nice Gert.  8)

I have made bread (on 2nd rise now) rolls, and a double batch of sweet creamy veg baby food - (Mrsdplus3 website) -- she usually just has what we are having now but she has a sore throat from all her tests (when she vomited blood) so thought it might be easier for her.  :)

I think it went dark so quickly as it has a lot of sugar in it. Well I think so. And eggs as well so sort of a brioche dough I guess.

It called for 4 tablespoons of sugar and I had to force myself to use three but I think it can do with a lot less. 3 rises. I would not knowingly eat 4 tablespoons of sugar in a year.

Tastes good though.

I love that book. Never made a bread like it before and turned out fine.  Let the first rise in the Thermomix .  Don't really know why it is so brown but so be it.

We went to my brother's for dinner last night and his partner has a ragdoll cat. I am not a cat person at all but this cat is rather lovely.
