Mine looked much the same only cut veggies and curry colour. I cooked mine maybe  5 hours on low and no liquid at all.

Fridge clean-out today. 1st picture TM steamed vegies topped with 1/2 batch of the awesome cheese sauce.  2nd picture - ready for the air fryer or freezer topped with TM mashed potato and drizzled with melted butter.
