I'm going out for a very long lunch today so I have made Cauliflower and Broccoli soup for dinner and put a casserole in the SC for dinner. I will leave out some vegetables for DH to prepare.

Made Leek and Cauliflower soup and a dip/ spread that didn't work.  Chooks can have this.

I'm working on putting together a hamper of goodies for MIL's birthday. So Tenina's citrus curd (all lemon), a lemon sugar scrub, Skinnymixers seeded mustard, raw chocolate bark (Quirky's) and possibly a few other bits if I can manage my time today.

Crispy chicken wings and Chicken and Prawn Paella. Chicken stock. About to make little squares of Quicker than a packet cake and a slab of same. Picked some green Chinese veggies from garden so will make a stir fry.

I always have to check in on this page to find out what scrumptiousness is being served up on your tables. Am getting a little sick of eating out every night.

Kristy, your MIL should be thrilled, very thoughtful in your part.
Chookie, your crumpets look wonderful!
No cooking here today either.  I did make Macadamia nut paste this morning, but have lots of leftovers in the fridge to use up.

CP I do know that feeling. We have eaten out at times when we are away, to make life easier as DH said. However after a short time I long for simplistic meals like beans on toast.
Enjoy your holiday.

CP and Cookie , know that feeling of wanting a nice simple home cooked meal.  CP enjoy your holiday.
Today family for lunch. Roast lamb, mashed pots in TMX, Brussels Sprouts, carrot mash, Broccoli and Cauliflower with chees sauce. Gravy and garlic bread. Sounds like an odd mix but catering for what I know they will eat.
GD will cook crepes and again an odd assortment of toppings. Strawberries, lemon, quince and apple jelly. Maple syrup and cream and ice cream.
