In Melb all day. Have just had coffee and fruit bread at trendy cafe. Fruit bread not as nice as mine.

Nothing as yet. I took my starter out this morning and it has been fed so I may make a SD and yeast fruit loaf this afternoon.
I wizzed up a quick vegetable soup last night and it needs some help, I will add some more Vegies and some red lentils for tonight.

I ended up making some jam tarts this afternoon. Good old fashioned food.

Nothing again today. Nephew had accident in car and is concerned about his teeth so we have driven him to Ballarat to see DD to check him out.  Other than bruises he is very badly shaken up.  His parent are away.

Oh Chookie that is really horrid. Thank goodness you were able to help. I do hope his teeth are ok and that he feels better very soon.

It's nice to have a dentist in the family plus caring relatives Chookie.  He is lucky to have you.

Back from Ballarat. Nephew is relieved that he has only broken the sides off teeth that were filled. DD can fix this. He is far more shaken up than we thought.
We all do what we can for family and friends, and yes strangers.

Tinned soup and SD toast for dinner.

Poor nephew Chookie. I really feel for him.

I made Helene's yummy egg noodles tonight and used them for Chookie's prawn dish. Very tasty.

I also made some Raisin Benoiton. They use yeast and SD starter. I will post the recipe.

I've never heard of Raisin Benoiton, is it a type of scone?

Glad your nephew is OK, Chookie.  He's lucky you were close enough to help him.
