Nice pies Obbie. :)

Today I made a large pot of meat sauce to be made into a lasagne tomorrow.  A meat pie with some pulled beef from the freezer, weetbix slice with nutella in the icing and two lots of madelaines.  I don't have the right tin for these so just used a shallow patty tin.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

It all looks delicious mab.

DD likes Laksa so I made some Laksa-ish base from Nikki's class. I loved the soup that Nikki and Nerissa made with it.

Thanks Chookie; I just have to work out which model to get now as the Phillips site had a few different ones. Christmas is almost here (sorry everyone for mentioning it) so I might ask Santa for one.

I made some bread rolls today to take to a friend who is helping me pin a quilt together; I used the Bread rolls in under an hour and added some mashed pumpkin left over from making Flos scones and it worked a great. Yesterday made a loaf of Sweet potato bread and that was also very nice. In both these breads I used about 100g of Lauke 00 flour and the texture was finer than usual which was very nice. Not sure of the reason.

I have a new phone. It took me a while to remember my password for the forum. Yesterday I made honey chicken and fried rice. Fried rice was from devil of a cookbook. It's our favourite.

Hi INAID. Lovely to see you again.

I've made some Lavender Almond Shortbread from Tenina's Christmas ebook. No lavender though, just vanilla. I haven't had one yet. They look nice.

Tenina's shortbread is lovely. When I was making them there was great excitement in the kitchen. I had a double yolker egg. They bring back memories of childhood when our chooks often laid them.
