Judy, that all looks tremendous, what a lot of work you have put in for it. I am sure everyone will be overjoyed to partake of such a feast.
Julie, hope you feel better soon. Take care.

OK Judy , what did they like best. ?
Congratulations on a terrific effort.
Today, inspired by Julie, I made zucchini and carrot noodles. I stir fried then with garlic, ginger and mushrooms. Lovely. My noodle maker is different to most, it is a Gefu. I bought it with Rals voucher from Forum Fest. ( Wheel and Barrow). Thanks Ral and ?.
I have bought a recipe App for $3.

Thanks again girls. I'm not sure Chookie as it was all either eaten at the lunch or taken home in one of the 40 takeaway packs I supplied. All I bought home was 1/4 of the cake as they wanted it to be frozen and bought back for our next meeting to have with coffee. The overall spread was lovely, luckily the group who entertained us had 14 members as they were invited to stay for lunch and help us eat all the food.
The pavlova was the best one I've ever made Denise, I made sure I had a slice myself.

That's an amazing spread Judy. You must be very pleased with the result. What is Probus? Is it like the Rotary and Lions clubs?

Judy you must feel chuffed that it was all well received. A job well done
I had to have a go at making this egg & banana pancake stack that I saw in a video on the Inspiralizer site, (a spiralizer wasn't used).
Basically, whisk 2 eggs and add to a mashed up ripe banana, can add a few squished blueberries if you like (I liked). Heat a non stick frypan and then spray with oil. Spoon tablespoon amounts into the pan, making sure you get a little of the blueberries in each spoonful if using. I cooked 3 and then 4 to get 7 little rounds. Cook until golden underneath and the top is setting, flip over gently and cook underneath. You won't get much puffiness but you will get a little.
Stack them and serve with a drizzle of pure maple syrup. This is one serving. Look much bigger in the photo but not a big serve at all.
Of course they are not as good as normal pancakes and won't be for everyone but you can fool your mind if you allow it to be. Good when you feel like something like this but don't want to eat anything too high in cals. I enjoyed them and will make again.

I found this Margaret, it explains it easier than I could. There's no travelling with our small club but we have evening theatre outings (get picked up and dropped back to our door by a little bus), daytime outings which usually include lunch, some of us meet once a month for coffee and we have a monthly meeting which includes a speaker or entertainment. We're all locals so you end up bumping into members in shopping centres, surgeries, anywhere really. I joined 2 years ago after Geoff went into care, for me it takes the place of my former Carer Group. There's also a mixed club in my area but I chose the ladies club.
"Probus is an association for active members of the community, and for those no longer working full time, to join together in clubs for a new lease of life.
Its basic purpose is to advance intellectual and cultural interests amongst adult persons; to provide regular opportunities to progress healthy minds and active bodies through social interaction and activities, expand interests and to enjoy the fellowship of new friends.
Age is not a number but how you feel inside.
Probus offers many member benefits to keep you young, including international and domestic travel, daytrip excursions, luncheons and opportunities to meet new friends.
Probus is a community service activity of Rotary clubs."

Thanks Judy. Probus sounds wonderful. I should look into it or my Mum. She's in Brisbane and has been on her own since my Dad passed away two years ago.
We live in a very nice community here in the US. We went to check out the "active adults/retirees" community recently and my DS6 wanted to move in. They were having a residents BBQ and he asked if he could join in the fun!

Probus sounds like a fantastic meeting of minds Judy ☺
Last night my tm5 was delivered and we made Korean Barbecue Chicken with rice. I asked my consultant to choose anything she liked as I've had my tm31 for 4 years and don't really need to learn how to make stock! The recipe was from the Street Food collection on the Recipe Platform. Really yummy and we will certainly make again...a few inconsistencies in the written recipe, but given that it's a new collection and only available electronically, it will be interesting to see if Thermomix use the opportunity to edit their recipes 😄

This one from Best Recipes Chookie.
http://www.bestrecipes.com.au/recipe/pavlova-L428.html
I read all the comments and used a few of them. I always do this when I try a new recipe, especially if it's for other people.
1) the variation of 6 egg whites/cooking it an extra 12 minutes.
2) after it cooled down in the oven I placed it on the serving plate and covered it with gladwrap (not in the fridge) until I decorated it next morning.
3) sprinkled the baking paper with cornflour for easy removal to the plate.
4) baked it non-fanforced.
I've never made one where you add all the sugar at once but beating it for 10 minutes+ works. I used my mixmaster, not the TM31.
