I made Skinny Mixers avocado dip ( minus chives as I didn't have them) for morning tea, everyone loved it. Also at long last made the CCC Biscuits, they were tasty but not crisp, not sure what I did wrong. Will have another go because of the flavour.

I wrote that one out too Denise, I might take it along to a Probus morning tea in a couple of weeks.  Thanks for mentioning it, it's always nice to know if one of our own likes it.

It looks delicious Chookie.

May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Your meal looks nice Chookie.

Yesterday I made 6 large jars and 3 small jars of apricot jam as a Christmas gift for the gentleman who looks after my computer.

That's lovely of you Margaret but I'm sure your IT man is worth every jar, I know mine is.

Last night I made 3 loaves of almond bread, will slice and dry out on Sunday night.

Yesterday we had lunch out in Ballarat. I had a salmon and horseradish terrine. Think I will have a go at making it. It was Smoked Salmon wrapped around cream cheese that was flavoured with dill and horseradish. There were 3 layers of the cheese between the Smoked salmon.
Tonight baked chicken thighs rubbed with mushroom salt. ( Cookies idea for salt). Rice pilaf. 2 minute salad.
Great idea Mab. Everyone likes Apricot jam.

Hopefully a SD loaf and something to put in the cake tin or biscuit barrel.

The SD was slow to rise and I have just put it in the oven. (7.20pm)  DH requested savoury biscuits so I made some cheese straws but rolled them into balls and sprinkled them with cayenne. They must be ok as he and DD have eaten several.
