I have one of those gadgets! I must hunt it out   Thanks Chookie.

We had curried chicken burgers last night so I made some rolls from Chookie's no fuss recipe.

I have the Classic bread rising and I've made another wholemeal, seed loaf and this time I included 100g SD starter. The mix seemed better, now to wait and taste it.

I still need to experiment with my wholemeal loaf, not perfect yet!
I have a Classic loaf rising at the moment. It rises very quickly in this warm weather.
Yesterday I made a Cranberry and Pecan overnight SD loaf. It's quite nice.

I've actually been bad and bought her new book as an ebook.

Cookie, from the look of your loaf , it looks to have too much liquid. I checked out the recipe and I can’t see how she got the result in the photo using this recipe.
If you continue to use this recipe you might consider baking it in a cast iron pot with lid. This will then use the liquid to raise the loaf.

Cookie, that is very kind of you but I sometimes worry that I am sticking my nose in.
I have been making fruit loaves in the bread stick tin.  Then I can have a small slice or even 2. I just use the SD over night recipe and knead in a handful of walnuts  and cranberries and chopped apricots with a bit for spice mix. No added sugar. For an olive loaf I knead in olives and Rosemary (chopped fine. )

Chookie, your knowledge of bread making is invaluable and I am always happy for you to "stick your nose in" to any of my cooking :) :)

The same here. I can make and bake the bread but not analyse any problems. I honestly appreciate any help with anything and everything.

An interesting adaptation of potato rosti, using a spiraliser; Sudanese Sweet Potato and Peanut stew; a combination of several roast pumpkin risotto recipes and a chickpea and pumpkin pasta with miso sauce.  Haven't tasted any of them yet so goodness knows with this week's dinners will be like!

Had to smile.  After a great many disasters and lots of bread for the Chooks, I have had to look for the reasons that a recipe or method hasn’t worked.   Usually me experimenting or being impatient or stretching a method to the limit.

Marina you certainly cook some interesting meals.
