Made another recipe from Maggie’s Book. Olive oil Anzacs.  Not bad but I do love the flavour of butter in the traditional ones.

I made Tenias brownie for DD to take to school for classmates birthday , hope it tastes nice as I only had milk chocolate . A dusting of icing sugar in the morning , hopefully it survives the bus trip .

Quirky Cooking's creamy hot chocolate.

The biscuits do look good Chookie but I agree you can't beat the flavour of Butter.  :)
Nice rolls and pudding Chookie.

Cookie, the tomato paste looks good too.  I think I will look up the recipe as we have so many tomatoes at the moment that I can't keep up with them.

Lucky you Margaret. You can't beat home grown tomatoes.

Mab you are doing well with your potatoes and tomatoes. I am only getting a handful of toms and some zucchini. Spinach and silver beet as usual.
Made an Italian Fish stew yesterday.  Leftovers,  will add to pasta today.

I had a chuckle about the chocolate on top of the
Anzac Chookie.
I bought a packet of Gourmet Mixed Fruit just after Christmas. It had an interesting recipe on the back. It  was like a light fruit cake with vanilla yoghurt in and vanilla yoghurt icing. I made the cake in one large tin instead of two small ones. DH and DD tell me its very nice.

You certainly are cookie. Willpower is not a strong point a lot of people have.

Thanks but I don't really have much will power. I remember what happened to DH's brother and then I think of what I can eat instead. DD and I share a cake f we have coffee on the weekend.
You are too kind. ❤️

Also cooked hard boiled eggs.

I admire your willpower Cookie, and Chookie I am amazed at how many fabulous things you make  8) 8) 8)
I have cooking fatigue ATM :P The 3 adult "children" are all saving for big ticket items which is fantastic. The downside is that they know it's much cheaper and healthier to eat at home, or take food from home. So everyday I'm cooking large meals that serve 6-8 and if there are any leftovers (usually there's not), the fridge fairy gobbles them overnight. I made a Bimby chocolate cake Sunday morning and it didn't even last the day! Today I'm making my favourite Oatmeal crunchie biscuits (not everyone likes them  :D), savoury mince with brown rice for dinner and a large piece of corned meat for sandwiches is already in the slow cooker. I'll stop complaining now, tell myself that I am fortunate that the children are in my life and get on with restocking the fridge and pantry, again! Thank you all for listening :)
