Too funny Chookie we love your jam . Half a small jar disappeared on pancakes last weekend by DD and DS .

K Atie,  I love making jam.  Tastes so much better than the bought stuff.  The Lemon Butter recipe that I have posted is a favourite with my GD.  I gave my BIL a pot of Cumquat Marmalade , ( with the SD Olive load) for his Birthday.  Seems funny but he loved them.
I always take Jam to the Creswick Swap.  Doesn’t sit on the table for long.

Home made jam is definitely the best.  As kids we would have been very happy to have bought jam, we rarely got it.
Chookie do you think your lemon butter recipe could be made as Lemon and Lime? DD tried a Beerenberg Lemon and Lime Curd and has asked me to replicate it.

White SD loaf.  Into hot oven, Pyrex dish, Stoneground organic flour. Overnight then second rise. 50 minutes at 200 with lid on, 10 minutes lid off.

Cannot help myself another batch of Strawberry jam . Also Coffee and date muffins from Cookidoo-Meals in a flash , I used less coffee but they are nice . Started to clear a spot for 13 jars of strawberry jam well trying to . Went to the outside room off the garage to get some jars ,were all junk is and screamed the place down . I thought there was a mouse so calm , then this almighty stray cat leaped out the door .
Also cut some peaches in half and cooked them in the Thermomix . They are Australian peaches .

Yeow K Atie that would scare anyone.

The bread looks delicious Chookie.
No cooking here. We spent the morning visiting a friend whose birthday it is today. She knew we were coming, we picked up a coffee for each of us at Maccas on the way.

K Atie,  what a fright.  Think I also would have yelled.
Nice gesture Cookie. Ral has finally mastered his Coffee machine.  Down side is we haven’t been out for Coffee as much.  He needed to practice.
The SD loaf is good but the holes are not as big as I would like will keep trying.

Some nice cooking happening while I have been away.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I rarely get holes in my SD. I’m not sure why, but at least I have more bread to put my butter on.

Cookie, I think the amount of holes is to do with the folding or kneading of the dough prior to baking, be it 1 rise or 2. It is also to do with the water ratio. A wetter  dough, more holes.

I picked a Celeriac from the garden.  I will poach it in milk in a dish in the TMX, then mash it.
Made pasta with garlic prawns yesterday.
