Gorgeous crumpets and quiche.
No cooking here. I have been helping DH load our first Model A onto the car trailer. It is going to a new home. (boo hoo) We have 2 other Model A vehicles and a Holden now as well as our 3 cars for everyday. We just can't fit them in. I will be sad to see it go as I love it. DH got to choose which 2 we kept.

Gosh, you have got a real stable of cars, Cookie.

Today I have only made (vegan) beef bourguignon ... interesting ... the jury is out on this one, awaiting the result of their (his) deliberations!

Great cooking girls.
That was a reasonably quick sale then cookie.  Something had to give with the cars increasing so rapidly, was this one DH’s least favourite?

Cookie, that is sad but probably going to a good home.
Bedlam, Crumpets look good.
KAtie , nice quiche.
Time in the garden.  Looks a mess.  Have pulled out overgrown spinach, kale  and parsley .   No time to cook so pot stickers out of packet from freezer.

So true. DH loved all the Model A's but this is the one he did the least restoration on. It was mainly mechanical restoration. The others he restored from the chassis up.  He delivered it this morning and the people that have bought it are car lovers already. They have some amazing Holdens he said. They like original cars.
Yes the car did sell easily. We didn't expect it to. This man saw it at a motor swap meet and said he liked the look of it and that was it. He hadn't even heard it run or taken it for a drive. We have certainly had some fun it.

Yesterday used up a lot of SD and made 23 crumpets. Gave some away and have frozen the rest.
Also did a comparison test with the KFC , SD coating.
Will make a double lot  filling for Portuguese Tarts today as we are having visitors tomorrow.

I'm not sure what Holden's the man has Robyn. DH did say he had one from Bathhurst that was only driven in the Bathust 500, I think the others are HD, HR and round there. Later than our EK. I will check with DH.

I have a Classic loaf rising and the rye SD being fed up for a SD Batard. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=17515.0

Yesterday I made some Peanut Butter/Chocolate mini loaves that Tenina had posted.

Yesterday I cooked all day.  Made 6 lots of bread rolls for GD party weekend away.   I used Cookie Vienna bread recipe which I adapted to various different flavours. Plain, Wholemeal, Potato, grain, all different shapes.nearly 50 all together.
Also made a double batch of Portuguese Tarts for visitors today.

You have been busy Chookie. GD will proudly say you have made them.

Robyn, the man that bought the Model A also has a Monaro that was the last off the production line. It has never been licensed or driven for any distance.

All the Portuguese Tarts are gone and tomorrow I will make some dips and with the bread rolls all finished.
I picked a lot of Globe Artichokes and a friend who came for Afternoon tea, ( and stayed for Dinner) showed me how she had seen an Italian grandmother prepare them.  Ral said he wouldn’t be rushing to have them again. I won’t be rushing to prepare them again.   Very laborious.
We ate leftovers for dinner.
