I saw a recipe for a fruit bread that used 2 mangoes. One was puréed and kneaded with the dough and the other was chopped and folded through with sultanas. My mango was large so I only used one. It was quite a moist dough but seemed fine. All was well until I went to get it out of the tins. The smaller loaf eventually came out but as you can see the larger one didn't. It tastes nice and we have been pulling pieces off all afternoon.

Interesting recipe Cookie.  It looks nice.  I have to admit that I now mostly line mybread tins with baking paper.
Yesterday I made Cookies Nuts and Bolts. This was for my GD party.

Sounds nice cookie, it doesn’t matter what it looks like for the immediate family.

The last couple of days I have been busy making strawberry & rhubarb Jam and dehydrating strawberries.  Went to a strawberry farm Friday and managed to get 16kgs.  $12 for 4kgs which was a good price!

How many days did all that take you Trudy, do you ever sit down and put your feet up?

I have been making Plum Leather.  I have found the leather is very nice in the Protein balls.
Today I am taking small Macadamia and honey tarts to the hospital for the staff.
Yesterday I was offered afternoon tea at the hospital.  I didn’t have it but was nice to be offered some.
I have decided cooking in the TMX is therapy.

I totally agree with the therapy Chookie.
Margaret I know how you feel. I felt the same when I had my back done.
Yesterday I made a Blueberry, Orange and Polenta loaf. It was all done in the thermomix. I will post the recipe as it is very easy and tasty.

Going to make a zucchini loaf with dried apricots & dates.  It’s a Carole Walter recipe which I found on the net.
