KAtie, you might consider using Maggie Beers Sour cream pastry recipe.  I think Meganjane converted to TMX.
Cooking Quinoa and Broccoli rice.  Will try using it in Falafels with a bit of chilli.
Also looking at recipe for Onion Confit.  I have found I can eat a little onion if it is cooked. Yippee.

That’s good news about the onion Chookie.
No cooking here today but yesterday I made a Olive and Parmesan bread to have for dinner. The flavour is very nice.

Cookie, I would love a bit of crust from that loaf. I’m interested in the amount of Parmesan in the recipe as I could add this to the SD olive loaf I make for DD.
Thanks for the link.
Today I am going to make a sponge.  I have NEVER made a sponge.  My mum was the queen of sponge cakes. Passionfruit sounds nice.

I invented a flavour bomb today - it was interesting!  I am using it in a vege stew and I may add a bit more as I can't really taste it - tomatoes, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, chilli sauce, one onion, four old frozen garlic cloves ... what could go wrong!  ;D

Lovely crusty loaf cookie, I love warm crust with vegemite.
Good luck with your flavour bomb Marina.

Today I’ve made salmon cakes without mashed potato https://healthyrecipesblogs.com/salmon-cakes-recipe/
Broccoli cup-of-soup and using all the almost expired veggies from the fridge I made a zucchini/tomato/bean dish for sides or breakfast on toast.  Lots more packets for the freezer later.

Busy girls. I have a Classic loaf in the fridge. It has been slow in rising as it is so cold. It hasn’t needed any help though.

Marina, I am so excited that you have made up a Flavour Bomb.  This is what I would like people to do.  Mine are only a guide. You will have to experiment with how much to use.  I had some sauce leftover from the cooked chicken so I added the chicken bones  to the pot and it made a tasty Laksa type soup. This was a real bonus.
After looking at lots of sponge recipe I have decided to make an Italian type one.  The Victoria sponge contains a LOT of butter.

There has been a lot of great cooking going on.
I am sticking to a lot of slow cooker meals while my thermomix is being repaired. I haven't received the confirmation email that they have received it yet.
Today, vegetable soup from The Cook's Pyjamas blog.

Finally with the sponge, made the family favourite Lemon Feather Cake.  I have never seen anything disappear so quickly.  Would still like to make the Italian Sponge.
Made Mushroom Risotto using the stock made from chicken bones and Flavour Bomb.

Sponge is always delicious. I always make this recipe of Mab’s now. It’s lovely. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=17536.0

The sponge looks amazing Chookie.

Cooked the vegetable soup in the slow cooker overnight.

Michele, that veggie soup looks very nice.  Good soup weather.
Have been looking at some Anna Jones vegetarian recipes.
