Needed some bread rolls to go with soup for lunch.  Didn’t want to light the oven so made 6 in the pie machine.  Not the mini one but the deep one I bought from Harris Scarfe. Cooked them for 11 minutes . Next time 14 minutes.  1/2 No Fuss recipe made 6.  Turned over at 1/2 time.

I love their shape Chookie. I have made a Classic loaf and have it in the oven with a bowl of very hot water, trying to get it to rise. Also the rye SD batard that will go in the fridge over night. I hope to start another loaf of the SD that DH helped me with last week.

I picked a massive Chinese cabbage from the garden.  It is a bit moth eaten.  Looking at recipes other than Stir fry to use it.   May use some in a dish where you rub with Tahini and soy and then roast until crispy.
Going to test a flavour bomb with chicken thighs. Will report.

I’m cooking some of my SD today. I think the others may need to go in the fridge overnight and be baked tomorrow.

Friend asked if I had a recipe for thin small wraps.  I finally thought of Peking Duck Pancakes.  Made the dough in the TMX.  This took a lot of work out of the process. Lots of rolling out but ok.  Steamed them 16 at a time in Varoma. Made 36.
1 moth eaten Chinese cabbage.  Looked at lots of recipes using Kale.  Found a Food52 top recipe which I converted to TMX.  Very good.  Has pine nuts and goat cheese.   Will post.

Lots of delicious cooking going on.
I made Chookies Grandma's Bread today. It uses mayonaise. It is similar to the 3 ingredient bread I bake in the pie maker
it has a few more ingredients but is very easy and turned out well.

I have at last cooked my new SD bread. It took 2 days to rise.

I’ve been a bit lazy and swapped the above 2 recipes directly from my blog, instead of retyping them.
The Pilaf is one of the most popular recipes from FOOD52. A different grain can replace the Quinoa.  The cooking process would then be different.m

Why not Chookie? It’s a good idea.
This is my 2 day SD bread. I still haven’t got the tin sizes sorted yet, but that will come.
