I made RTE Lentil Curry and a Baked frittata with spinach and potato
https://www.italianspoon.com.au/baked-frittata-with-spinach-and-potatoes/
for the freezer for when DD1 comes over next. For me a broccoli & cheese soup.

Brownie, boiled eggs . Then cooked 9 ham cheese ,some with tomato toasties for morning smoko ! I made a cheese and tomato for me but it disappeared with all the others . Lunch time they had cold roast lamb salad hard boiled eggs etc in a roll . It’s great I prep everything and they make up their own rolls . No dinner tonight as most of them went home .

K Atie, love what you cook for the farm workers. Well done.
Yesterday at lunch in Lygon St I ordered a focaccia roll, mostly to see what they made.
It was very interesting. I’m going to make some. It was round, brushed with olive oil and had cherry tomatoes and basil pressed into the top.

Lygon Street is always worth a visit but it is changing a lot now.
Today I cooked RTE's pesto pasta salad - with a twist. I couldn't get hold of any pesto and couldn't be bothered making some, so I used guacamole dip (well, it was green, so at least I got the colour right) ... I wouldn't recommend using guacamole dip in this recipe
It is edible, but perhaps not exactly how she envisaged the end result from someone following her recipe!

The other day I made a lemon coconut slice for smoko , today they had chocolate chip cookies.
Made 15 ham cheese and ham cheese tomato toasties ! This morning I did snow cooked stewed pears from the pear tree ( amazingly there are some left after the lorakeets ) This afternoon vanilla cup cakes and boiled eggs for tomorrow. I’ll ice them in the morning. At the shearing shed I chopped up potatoes and some carrots for roasting, prepped the 2 roast loin pork !( so much easier in a oven bag !) thankfully the one of the crew does the serving up at night .

I made a macadamia slice this morning. It looks nice. There is a free ebook if anyone wishes to download it.

The slice is from this book.

K Atie do you have a commercial machine for toasting all those sandwiches? It’s a good thing you enjoy cooking, workers need so much food each day.
The slice looks nice cookie, I used to love macadamias and I loved them in biscuits.

Today I’ve made this chicken parmigiana casserole for SIL, I remember doing it years ago for DH and me so I know it’s going to go down well with SIL.

I used to use a lot of recipes from that site. I must check back. That sounds delicious.
A while ago I made some fresh mozzarella. I kept it in some of the whey from it and it sort of tried to dissolve the cheese. I did a bit more reading and made another lot today. The only trouble is that I want to eat all of it.

Cookie, I’ve also downloaded the Maca book. Which recipe did you make? Also I am fascinated that you made that cheese.

It's the Macadamia, Sultana and Chocolate slice Chookie. Rather tasty.
I made a caramilk slice for DD to take to work. (apparently morale is low there) I put a sign on it to keep in the fridge. She rang a while ago to say someone had thrown it in the bin. I wasn't hurt, but I can see why morale is low if people do that.

Cookie that slice looks nice, it's a shame I can't eat any sort of nuts.
Today I made some Anzac biscuits. Then made 2 meat lasagnes and a vegan lasagne, also 2 small vegan pavlovas, vegan "lemon butter" and started on a large trifle to be finished tomorrow. We are having family for lunch on Sunday to celebrate a GD 21st birthday.

Whatever would someone want to throw perfect food out cookie, I bet they didn’t own up to it.
Margaret you’ve been very busy cooking for your family, lovely catering once again. Happy birthday to your GD.

That was a thoughtless act Cookie, just because one person doesn't like something, there maybe others who will like it. What a waste of good food and your effort to make it.
