I agree and it makes me realise I haven't made these for a while now.  Lovely summer lunches just around the corner.

Made risotto today with mushrooms and asparagus,  to have with grilled fish.  I have to admit that I have never eaten or made a Bagel but after seeing these made by CP63 i am going to have a go.   Thanks Brazen for posting the recipe.

I wonder how many 'home makers' or domestic scientists proudly say all of the things they have made today with such pleasure?
TMX really does change lives.

We had farfallina's corn/polenta dish. Yummy.

I haven't been doing much cooking lately but today I made a freeform loaf from Isi's Portuguese roll recipe and a batch of coleslaw to go with the chicken and chips I bought for lunch.  Still trying to work up some energy after my hectic past week.  :P :-))

Found a bit of energy so made another batch of lemonade and Chookies Honey Snap biscuits.

Made a chocolate cake adapting the recipe I made the other day to use cocoa rather than almond essence, made a batch of date scones, and some bread.

Grated all the veggies and oats that I add to my mince which then cooked in the slow cooker for a chilli con carne.  Then did the rice in thermie.

As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!
