Glad you feel that way Passir, we all do.

I'm having great fun today and yesterday as we are having guests for dinner and they are keen to see what the TMX can do. The menu is 2 curries, one from the 2009 calendar, Bron's minestrone with beetroot in and parmesan breadsticks, some vegetable parcels from the Indian book, naan bread and for sweets sticky date pudding and the sauce with strawberry icecream. For coffee I have cranberry and almond shortbread and ILB's chocolate cake. Except for 1 curry it is all in the TMX.
Great fun, people to eat all the food.

If your meal doesn't convince them they need a TMX Cookie, nothing will  :D :D  Sounds wonderful.

If only you didn't live quite so far away Cookie I would be very tempted to gate-crash.  Yum!!!

We had the creamy tomato and salami fettucine from the EDC for dinner tonight.  Simple but really lovely.  I sometimes like to cook some of the simple dishes from the EDC to remind myself how easy cooking in the TMX can be (and how nice it is not to have to wash up the varoma, rice basket and thermoserve).  :)

Last night I made Bafs Award Winning Chicken.  I found some goats cheese in an obscure corner of the fridge, so I was able to make it pretty much as it stood.  But I do need to work out a dairy free version.

I also made some basic bread, some of which was used for French toast this morning.  I didn't use the TMX for making the French Toast Mix, but wished I had ('cos I'm lazy!) once my husband asked why I was taking a couple of minutes doing it by hand rather than a few seconds in the TMX.  Good question, as I have 2 jugs and could just have popped that one in the dishwasher load I was about to set off...

This morning I've made some more of Tenina's Chocolate fudge, which is now in the process of setting.  Tonight I'm going to do a stir fry and make rice in thermie.

As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

Thank you for all the lovely comments.  We had a lovely evening and of course lots to eat. Everything turned out delicious and I'll post reviews for the couple of new things soon. (I need a sleep today!)

I made a Fruit Loaf (Milk and Honey Bread from the forum, made with spelt and bakers flour, plus dried figs, apricots and almonds on the bottom).  This is my fav bread!  And after a couple of poor attempts lately with bread getting stuck in the tin etc.....today's loaf looks beautiful!!!!  Slide out of the tin straight away too!

I'm trying the Cashew Chicken out of the Indian Cookbook tonight - except I'm using coconut cream + a little lemon juice instead of Greek yoghurt (to make it dairy free), and a bit of tikka paste instead of the spices... hope it turns out!

Well it has been an age since I have posted in here  :-)) today was the usual porridge or hot breakfast as my little guy calls it. Some apple and orange juice, a 1.5 batch of ilb's choc cake which I have cut up into the shape of a number 4 in prep for my eldest's birthday party Sunday afternoon. Dinner was veg pasta with steamed veg and fetter  in the varoma from the vegetarian book. Tomorrow I will be making lemonade, cyndi's veg sausage rolls, orange juice, icing using a technique i am working on to create colour without food colourings and ganache for the cake, dip, and probably a whole lot of froth for coffees  ;D I can't believe my 1st baby is turning four on Wednesday!

Today I made orange & lemon juice, white chocolate & coffee biscuits, a double batch of washing powder and nut truffles from this site http://notjustcake.blogspot.com/2009/11/pretend-truffles.html#links.
