In the TMX made Judy's Parmesan Potatoes,  and a new recipe for Apricot Custard Rolls, ( just posted).  Mash of carrot, parsnip and sweet potato.

Maddy, they are really amazing. Yesterday I made more butter, some little rolls from Chookie's recipe and goofed off.

Today I am cooking a sweet chilli infused pork topside roast in the weber with root vegies and will steam other vegies in the TMX. Found a small tub of wine and mustard sauce in the freezer & whipped up 1/2 batch of cheese sauce.

:-\  I actually haven't eaten one!  ;D  I like making the sweet stuff, but rarely eat it.
They usually get gobbled, so I guess they're o.k.  ;)

The pork just melted in your mouth CP63 and there is a huge amount left to do different things with during the week. This was a new cut of meat at Foodland and it certainly won't be the last time I buy it - $16 for a 1.3kg piece of pure meat.  My DH asked me 'whose recipe is this'  ??? ???

Poor CC, hope you feel better soon.  This is when you appreciated having leftovers in the freezer more than any other time  ;)

JD,  your pork meal has inspired me.  DH loves belly pork so I thought i should cook him some.  Cooked on stove and in Asian stock,  then crisped in oven.  Also cooked a beautiful lemon curd,  but only for those who have their own chooks,  took 10 eggs.  If anyone interested I will post.  Made a bread stick and 6 rolls,  to have with Minestrone for lunch.  I have lost the post about  the vacuum sealing.  Can anyone help me find it or should I start a separate post?  I would like to put a photo on showing how to vacuum seal liquids.

Here is the thread for the vacuum sealing:

And I would love the recipe for the lemon curd with 10 eggs - our neighbours have chooks and are always giving us eggs  ;D

The pork belly sounds wonderful - very Masterchef!
