Hi Frozzie,
Thanks for asking. I am 3 doses of Chemotherapy done with 3 more to go. Had a couple of bad turns which put me in hospital. I am just plodding on in the knowledge that it has to come to an end sometime.  I seem to just want soup so I am trying to put good ingredients in.

Sorry to hear you ended back in hospital but hears hoping you get through the rest of it as quickly as possible and without complications.  I can understand not wanting much to eat but at least you can put whatever you wa t into soup ...keep your strength up and take care.. Its good to see you back on here!!

Dot - hang it there - soup is good for the soul and seems to be something that most of us enjoy eating even if everything else has the 'yuk' factor. Keep in touch, we're all sending positive vibes  :)

Not a lot, googling recipes & looking at cook books.

Have turned 2 loaves of shop bread into breadcrumbs & made a golden syrup cake.
Had the brainwave, buy the bread a day out & crumb it in TM & freeze, only dawned on me today!! Slow learner ;D

It's very handy to have in the freezer Hally - I usually have a bag of plain and a bag of cheesey crumbs just to save time later.

A cupcake bouquet for Mums Birthday.

The cupcakes were spiced applesauce, with cinnamon cream cheese icing.

WOW!!!
Happy birthday maddy's mum!

Silly question, but for ease sake - how do you make your cheesy crumbs - Just add grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley etc and freeze?

Maddy your roses are gorgeous. Your mum's birthday seems to have come around very quickly as I still remember the last cake you made for her.

Cheese crumbs - yes I just add either tasty cheddar or some parmesan CP.  I like parmesan crumbs/parsley for coating chicken tenderloins but cheddar is fine for topping casseroles or tuna mornay eg.  If I ever grate too much cheese, I just add it to already frozen crumbs.
